Our entire music catalog is downloadable only. We do not ship.
Browsing
Across the top of any page, there are general headings (known as "Tabs") of:
Big Band – Jazz Combo – Vocal Jazz – Misc. Ens. – Aebersold - ...and More
Select any one of these categories (except for Home) and all the music under this heading will be listed in alphabetical order.
Searching
In the ‘Search’ rectangle at the top right-hand corner of any page, enter the name of the composer/arranger, music title, or book you are looking for.
Or, you can select one of the ‘Tabs’, and find the music listed in alphabetical order.
Or, you can go to the ‘Meet Our Writers’ on the Home Page and below their names will be a list of their compositions.
Once you’ve reached one of the Tabs…Big Band - Jazz Combo - Vocal Jazz, you will find...
On the left-hand column on any page there is a scrolling alpha list of the Composer/Arranger’s names. Select the ‘Name’ and you will have a list of all of the individual’s music in alphabetical order.
On the left-hand column on any page, you can select the music that matches the LEVEL of your ensemble.
- Easy (Grade 1)
- Medium Easy (Grade 2)
- Medium (Grade 3)
- Medium Advanced (Grade 4)
- Advanced (Grade 5)
On the left-hand column on any page there is a scrolling alpha list of STYLES of music you would like to search for. Select the style and you will have a list of all the music in that category in alphabetical order.

Under Misc. Ens. you’ll be able to search for music that is written for specific categories of jazz ensemble music:

Under Aebersold, you’ll find all of Jamey’s music and method books listed by specific categories:

Adding Items to your basket
To make it easier than ever to purchase our music, we have the shopping cart feature. Once you’ve found an item you wish to purchase, please click on ‘Add to Cart’ button. You will not be charged for this item until Check-Out.
If you continue to search for another piece of music, or an Aebersold/Sher Music book, please click on 'Continue Shopping'.
Check-Out
When you are finished shopping, please click the ‘Shopping Cart’ at the top right side of your screen. You will have a chance to:
- Review the items and quantity you wish to purchase (and SKU #)
- If everything is correct, then please press the Check Out button
- In this step you have two options: Express Checkout or fill your information and press 'Continue to payment'
- Make sure the email address is correct. Here is where your order will be sent. Complete your Payment Method and press 'Complete order'
Receiving the Order
When you completed your Checkout you'll see your Order # and a message saying 'You'll receive a confirmation email shortly'. This confirmation will be sent to the email you entered.
Go to your email and you'll see two emails*:
- Your Receipt...with the subject 'Order # xxxx confirmed'
- Your Download Instructions...with the subject 'Downloads for Order # xxxx'. Click the link and another window will open with the 'Download' button. Click on it and the product will download automatically to your computer.
Please note the music will download to the folder that you have assigned for downloads. If you don't find the order, please do a 'Search'. You can also right-click** on 'Download' and choose the download folder (for example 'Desktop')
* If you don't see the above emails, please, go to your spam folder
** Right-click on Apple computers is 'Control + click'.
