Description
Ant Dance is an ECM influenced groove in the meter 9/4. The feel is in 3, with a dotted half getting the beat. The melody is in the Soprano Sax, Tenor Sax, Flugelhorn and Guitar. Solo space is given to Flugelhorn and Alto Sax. The melody returns after the solos, and then the arrangement builds to a thrilling climax over a piano (or guitar) solo.
