Description

It was a little over a year ago, when I thought of the University of Northern Colorado Lab Band I performance at the Mid-West Band Clinic in Chicago, 1990. While we were there, we also played an evening at Joe Segal’s Jazz Showcase, one of the most well-known jazz clubs in the world. It was kind of a passing thought as Mariano and I were thinking about conventions at which iJazzMusic.com could have a booth and share with others some of the great jazz music that is being written today.

I remembered UNC Lab Band I had performed at the Clinic in 1990, with Eddie Daniels, and that the concert was terrific, and, it was recorded by Mark Custom Recording (Mark Morette). Reason I remember was that Mark’s father’s company, Mark Custom Recording, was originally located in Denver, CO. Thus when I arrived at UNC in 1976, it was Mark Sr. who recorded most of our early UNC concerts. Which became LP and finally CDs.

When Purchase this CD, you will receive all the tracks from the CD plus the CD booklet insert.
