This arrangement is designed to feature the piano and male vocalist. It has bluesy soloist lines and a vocalese sax soli written over one of Sonny Stiff's solo choruses on the recording of this on "Sonny Side Up". This chart has a lot of unconventional techniques and blues material that will be nitely take some time to work out with you band. Once everything makes sense through it will be a lot of fun for everyone to play. I wrote the lyrics myself telling a story of a man who is sad and lonely so he turns to extra work to take his mind off of his depression. He's really singing the blues as they. were intended, and that's the one thing that is most important about this chart and story: The Blues.
