After an opening cadenza (first out of time, then with the Rhythm Section in time) the Flute plays the Amazing Grace melody, then continues to solo while the brass pay the Mo Better Blues theme. The Rhythm Section shifts to a 12/8 feel for a "Sanbornish" Alto Solo which is followed by a 4/4 feel gospel Piano solo that extends over a Mo Better restatement which is followed by a powerful brass rendition of Amazing Grace, then settles into a short flute improvisation to end the chart.
