Description

I wrote this composition at a time when many things in my life were changing and I was struggling to cope with everything. But though the situation was challenging, I realized at the same time that difficult periods in our lives offer opportunities to readjust one's life path, to think about what one really wants and to put the personal focus on things that bring joy and make one feel alive and that may even ease a painful experience. After creating the first part of the piece, which is rather somber, I decided to write a contrasting part that would both change the mood of the composition a bit and sound brighter and perhaps more optimistic.
