This arrangement is published as recorded by the Stephen Guerra Big Band on the 2010 release Namesake. After a statement of the original introduction (with an irregular 5/4 bar thrown in for good measure) the melody is presented in several different textures highlighted by an exciting counterline during the second A section. This energetic chart is a great concert/festival opener and  features solo space for Alto saxophone and Trumpet. No doubles for saxophones.
