Description
An adventurous interpretation of the Hancock standard. In this arrangement, 12-tone technique, bitonality, crab-cannon and a few other compositional techniques are utilized. It was once described as if “A dolphin was being attacked by a shark. In this case, the dolphin is the tenor soloist, and the shark is the rest of the band.” The good news, is the Dolphin gets away at the end.
