Description
Commissioned for the 1992 Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association “All-Star Jazz Ensemble”, this is an opener style, hard hitting minor blues. Very much like writing from the Buddy Rich big band book, this has great ensemble writing and a nice sax soli. Not too difficult and VERY effective!
