Dual Perspectives is a modern swing piece that develops a central theme in two different ways. The first development is a more modern, straight 8th feel, with a laid back approach to the rhythms, while the second development is much quicker, and swings harder than it’s counterpart. The vibes part, while optional, adds that extra flair to the piece that accentuates some of the more climactic moments, specifically with the addition of tubular bells for a nice change of pace. Dual Perspectives is great for any band that wants to showcase a variety of skills within a chart.
