Description

This chart, commissioned by the Florida Atlantic University Jazz Ensemble, has a Metheny-esque Latin feel in mixed meters and a contrasting "salsa" section. Guitar is the featured instrument. Optional auxiliary percussion includes vibraphone, cowbell and congas. There is an optional slow introduction with flute and clarinet doubles; otherwise there is no woodwind doubling.
