Description
One of the most beautiful ballads ever, written as the title song to the 1964 film, The Americanization of Emily! Featuring the saxophones doubling on woodwinds with a beautiful interlude that will take a lots of musicianship, but worth every extra minute of rehearsal. And a favorite of pianist Bill Evans and saxophonist Paul Desmond, who both played this tune on almost every concert.
From the recording: Johnny Mandel Conducts the Music of Mandel, featuring the DIVA Jazz Orchestra.
