Description

I wanted to get the feeling of an open form with a through composed approach.  The piece grew organically from the beginning and includes a lot of tension and release.  There are solo sections for piano, trumpet, tenor sax, and bass. The piece ends with a section that begins after the bass solo and grows to a rather dissonant chord .
