Description
This original gives young players an opportunity to 'jam' in a funk groove. The tempo marking is flexible and can be adapted to the ability level of your ensemble. Funkfood is a great chart for teaching your students about this contemporary style, composed for developing jazz groups at the middle school or novice high school level. Convertible and can be played with reduced instrumentation or a full big band. Solos written out with chord changes, rhythm section parts suggest chord voicing and rhythms. Guitar ‘tab’ chord frames provided for young guitarists.
