Description

This uplifting piece features modal harmony and an even eighth groove. The harmony is modal with a bridge built on slash chords over a pedal. A saxophone soli follows the solo section (solos in alto 1 and trombone 1, but could be opened up for more/different soloists), ending with a partial recap of the theme in the entire band. The ending brings the soloists back with backgrounds building intensity to the end.
