Description
Mixing jazz ballad and waltz styles together, this arrangement of "Greensleeves" is a beautiful yet easy treatment of the 16th century, English folk song. Although this chart is technically simple, it's still very musical and interpolates ideas from Wayne Shorter’s “Footprints.” Great to play for both jazz festivals and holiday concerts! Solo opportunities for tenor sax and trumpet are written out, but they can be extended and improvised as well.
