This arrangement is meant to be a new take on this jazz standard heavily based in the tradition of vocalists like Nancy Wilson and Samara Joy. This arrangement extends the story of the song with added lyrics and a solo section to represent the arrogant husband telling his wife about his day. There is a lot of word painting and symbolism of the lyrics reflected in the harmony. This can be jarring at rst but it hopefully provides something new and interesting to this fantastic standard that hasn't been heard before.
