This arrangement was inspired by Lee Morgan’s song Sidewinder and the song Compared To What, that Les McCann and Eddie Harris made popular. It is a cross between a Boogaloo and a soul-rock vibe. It is medium up-tempo and fun for the whole band. Room for solos and a break section for the drums and percussion that can be opened up.
