Description
This is a medium fast, modern swing chart, grounded with a reoccurring simple bass figure. The melody is very syncopated with saxes and brass contrasting figures at. M. 25. Low brass and bari sax should try to achieve a loud, sloppy sound at m. 25. Don’t worry about pitch so much . …. It’s actually an effect! Solo space is written for Trumpet 5 and tenor 2. There are only two chords so it can easily be opened up to other soloists. Lead trumpet high note is B above the staff (written/transposed). This only happens one time. This would be an excellent festival chart.
