Description
Recorded by the California State University Los Angeles Jazz Ensemble on their highly acclaimed 1988 album “Monstrosity.” Easy-swinging tempo tune reminiscent of Herbie Hancock's Dolphin Dance. The chart is arranged in a hard-swinging Thad Jones sort of style. Bari sax soloist is a change from the norm; tenor sax solo gives way to nice shout that can show off the drummer and the lead trumpet player.
