Killer Joe is re-imagined with a reggae feel in a way that will delight your audience and your ensemble. After optional solos for Alto 1, Tenor 1, Trumpet 2, Trombone 2 or Piano, a harn section feature ramps up to an exciting shout chorus. This piece was commissioned for the 2025 Benny Golson JazzFestival at Butler Univeristy by Matt Pivec, Director of Jazz Studies.
