Description

Up-tempo ‘I’ve Got Rhythm’ rhythm chord changes contrafact, great opener or closer for festival or concert. Very exciting, fun, fast tempo be-bop line that is reminiscent of the Woody Herman band. Trombone and alto sax solo later in the chart, can be opened up for more players. Written as a closer for the US Army Jazz Knights and recorded on the CD “The United States Military Academy Band, West Point, N.Y.” (Mark Records 1404).
