Soprano sax feature with important parts for Trpt 5 and guitar. The arrangement is modeled after Miles Davis 5 legendary recording where the group plays 14 choruses of the theme without really improvising in a traditional manner. Holmquist brings the feeling of the original recording to life by using a number of techniques: "shadowing", "pointilism", imitation, occasional extreme dissonance, collective solos and more. He imitates the dynamic flow of the recording quite thoroughly by introducing matching contrasts. A truly epic and unique chart. Very exciting music!
