Description
Nora Rae was composed to commemorate the birth of our first grandchild. Primarily in ‘7’ (alternating bars of 4 + 3) this is a fetching, even 8th balladic chart that features piano (notated), tenor and flugelhorn. Although mostly soft and songlike throughout, it concludes with a rousing, “feel-good” vamp.
