Description

This a cappella vocal original by Randy Crenshaw is lots of fun to perform, especially for ensembles just learning about vocal jazz! Moderate swing tempo, but grooves hard, with a suggested written-out scat solo for a vocal soloist, easy jazz articulations and syllables for the vocal group parts, and a fun written-out walking bass line for young basses to learn this jazz tradition. Range is fairly limited for ensemble parts, although the vocal bass part does dip down occasionally to a low "E" below the bass clef staff.
