Description

Drums are the featured soloist throughout, with a rubato introduction that becomes an up-tempo triple-meter swing feel. The bridge sections can be played as an afro-cuban-style 6/8 feel. In addition, the solo at 182 can be played by either tenor 1 or guitar (ignoring the written backgrounds), and the solo at 238 is for trumpet 2. The clarinet doubles are brief and can be covered by saxophones if clarinets are not available. If flute is not available, soprano plays the background cue.
