Description
Shawtime is an original tune using the solo changes of MOONTRANE, a standard by the great jazz trumpet player Woody Shaw. It’s fitting that two trumpet soloists are featured on the piece with a battle between them as the piece progresses. There is also featured solo space for guitar (or piano) and drums along with a great saxophone soli! Shawtime is on the CD, ALL IN ONE by the David Caffey Jazz Orchestra.
