Description

The Cat is a great rock inspired piece for the developing ensemble. With voicings written throughout in the guitar and piano, as well as the bass lines provided, the piece is great for allowing the band to stretch on a blues form in a slightly different context. Solos in Alto 1, Trumpet 2, Trombone 2, and Drums, the piece can easily be stretched to accommodate more improvisation space.
