Description
The Destruction is a requiem to the people who succumbed to the Great East Japan Earthquake on 11 March 2011. The initial jolt was followed a few minutes after by 40-foot high tsunami. The three female voices can be substituted with Bb Clarinet, Flute, and Trumpet with cup mute or Flugelhorn.
Bamboo Flute can be substituted with a C flute. 5th Trumpet can be omitted.
Dynamics and balance are very important in this piece.
