Description
As recorded by Mats Holmquist, Randy Brecker, Dick Oatts and Latvian Radio Big Band on the album "Big Band Minimalism" (Summit/MAMA Records 2017). Based on a unique rhythm section riff, centered on an interesting bass- (& piano) line. The contrasting middle section features a trombone solo with plenty of space and several breaks. The piece builds and builds into a grand finale featuring simultaneous solos in trumpet and soprano.
