Originally written for the United States Army Jazz Knights, The Orange Orb is an up tempo original, contrafact over the changes to standard "Tangerine." Alto sax solo. Fun and impressive chart with great shout chorus playing for the whole band, great to program for festivals! Very swinging and musical!
