Description
The Skipping Tune is an exercise in the creation of compelling music without dominant chords. In spite of the lack of conventional functional dominant/tonic harmony, the music has rhythmic and harmonic momentum. It’s an exciting but difficult virtuoso piece, and the solo changes present particular challenges.
