Times Lie is a very interesting and original composition by Chick Corea. It contains many different parts and it is almost through-composed. Mats Holmquist made it into a tenor feature, but it also contains long solos for piano and drums. The piece just builds and builds with solos continously intermingled by horn entrances which makes the solo sections unusual and very interesting. Powerful high brass and dense and unusual voicings. Perfect feature for tenor, piano and drums with a powerful impact on the audience!
